. . .the possession of two “Kyl-Fyre” Extinguishers enabled me in a very short space of time to put out what threatened to be a very serious fire. The pendant kitchen lamp fell from the ceiling on to the table, the cook hurled it thence on to the floor, and the remainder of the servants fled on to the roof.
When I reached the scene I found the kitchen floor ablaze with the oil from the lamp, and the room full of stifling smoke. Within five minutes the whole fire had been entirely extinguished.
